چکیده

Abstract Funding Acknowledgements Type of funding sources: None. Backgrounds Somatostatin receptor (SSTR) based positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) is a novel approach for detecting myocardial inflammation and, consequently, cardiac sarcoidosis (CS). However, the diagnostic performance SSTR PET/CT was only evaluated in small studies. Purpose To evaluate clinical diagnosing CS. Methods PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane Library were searched from earliest available date indexing to December 2022 studies evaluating evaluation possible CS defined by Japanese Ministry Health, Labour Welfare (JMHW) criteria. Studies eligible if they performed on patient level. The case reports reviews excluded. calculate overall accuracy PET/CT, summary receiver operating curve (SROC) done. sensitivities specificities pooled. Heterogeneity with I² test. Sensitivity analysis excluding outliers conducted. Results Six used involving 104 patients (mean age 50 years, 45% male) fulfilled inclusion All included 68Ga-DOTATOC analogue. pooled sensitivity diagnosis 75.6% (95% CI 36.5–94.4%; = 34%), specificity 97.6% 84.9–99.7%; 0%) (Figure 1). SROC demonstrated good 2). Moreover, (5 studies) showed 80% 58.9–92.5%; 97.1% 82.3–99.6%; 0%). Conclusions useful adjunctive tool Further large multi-center are warranted validate

Role of Frizzled receptor expression on patients’ survival with gastrointestinal cancers: A systematic review with meta-analysis

Background: Frizzled receptors (FZD) play a pivotal role in the initiation and progression of a wide array of cancers. Dysregulated expression of FZD receptors is correlated with higher metastasis and invasive potential, as well as short survival in many malignancies. In this meta-analysis, we aimed to verify the prognostic value of FZD receptor expression on patients’ survival with different t...
